SINOPSIS<\/strong>: Cortometraje documental que hace un retrato de Las Hurdes (C\u00e1ceres), una de las regiones m\u00e1s \u00e1ridas y menos desarrolladas de la Espa\u00f1a de 1932. La insalubridad, la miseria y la falta de oportunidades provocan la emigraci\u00f3n de los j\u00f3venes y la soledad de quienes se quedan en esta desolada regi\u00f3n extreme\u00f1a.<\/p>\n

Este crudo documental sobre la situaci\u00f3n de atraso en que permanec\u00edan las Hurdes est\u00e1 basado en un monumental estudio de antropolog\u00eda humana de Maurice Legendre, quien hab\u00eda estudiado Las Hurdes durante casi veinte a\u00f1os, titulado Las Jurdes : \u00e9tude de g\u00e9ographie humaine (1927), que por esos a\u00f1os ley\u00f3 el cineasta. Con esta pel\u00edcula Bu\u00f1uel da un giro a su obra, alej\u00e1ndose del surrealismo ortodoxo para acercarse a propuestas m\u00e1s sociales y al comunismo<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
